Israeli strike kills 11 civilians at Nuseirat camp in central Gaza

An Israeli airstrike in central Gaza killed 11 civilians and injured over 70, many of them women and children.

AhlulBayt News Agency: At least eleven Palestinians were tragically killed, and more than seventy others—many women and children—suffered injuries when Israeli jets struck civilians gathered at the Gurab roundabout in the newly developed area of Nuseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.

Medical teams at Al-Awda Hospital confirmed that all the victims were civilians located in an overcrowded space. The facility received eleven bodies and over seventy wounded patients, many of whom are in serious condition.

This recent tragedy is part of the ongoing Israeli military operations that have ravaged Gaza since October 7, 2023, continuing to cause daily civilian casualties amid famine and mass displacement driven by the blockade.

Gaza health authorities stated that just since Monday morning, Israeli air raids claimed the lives of at least sixty individuals, with thirty-four deaths reported in Gaza City and the northern regions alone.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health’s daily figures, the cumulative death toll since the start of the offensive has reached 57,523, with 136,617 people injured. Most casualties are reportedly women and children.

The ongoing onslaught—widely described as a campaign of genocide—involves the deliberate targeting of civilians, destruction of infrastructure, and blocking essential aid, all while international calls for justice remain unmet.
